Testimonial: LMS consultancy & training design at IMEC
IMEC, the world-leading R&D and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies, was looking for support in implementing a number of features and configurations in their LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand). At the same time, they wanted to have the LMS optimized in terms of content curation. The Learning Hub assisted them with this, and also provided guidance and support with the launch of a blended training approach.
First, reports were drawn from the LMS which allowed us to detect superfluous and outdated course material. The Learning Hub oversaw the clean-up of these materials. We also researched and explored features of the LMS and set up tests to determine their pros and cons. Both projects were discussed with the team on a regular basis.
Together with the imec.academy team, we made a selection of those courses that were suited to be transformed to a ‘blended’ form of training (combining several training methods, like e-learning, face-to-face, mobile …). We wrote a proposal and guidelines that would help with the transformation. In collaboration with imec.academy, we explored the possibilities of several useful apps and technologies that could support and enrich the blended learning approach.
